How far did the ice age glaciers reach in North America?

In the past million years four ice ages have crept down over North America from the arctic. The cruelest was the second or Kansas ice age which spread its glacicrs as far south as what is new the state of Kansas it covered all of Canada and everywhere came some distance south of the border between Canada and the United States.

The glaciers merely touched the northwestern United States though isolated fields of frozen snow formed in central California and other western valleys around  region of the great lakes, however,, the ice age glaciers several times dipped far to the south.
